This is my website, finally.
I specialise in creative marketing, campaigns and storytelling for international sports federations, equestrian events, international brands, and global sporting organisations.
I do not specialise in my own marketing, clearly.
Hiya, I’m em.
I’m Bolt & Bay Media, a specialist creative freelancer producing campaigns, storytelling, 360 strategy, and content for international sports federations, governing bodies, equestrian events, international brands, and global sporting organisations.
In other words, I’m a creative digital marketing specialist. I say this loosely, as essentially I am a little one-person-all-the-willpower-200-tabs-open-less-buzzwords-probably-more-nonsense agency. I like to work with fun people to make fun things, and (hopefully) make a bit of difference in this strange world, even if that difference is just a smile in someone’s day.
the story

I help federations, brands, companies and people improve their creative marketing.
Global campaigns, always-on, paid media, growth, launches, live-events, editing, stills and video shooting, strategy… a lotttt of strategy.
All the usual things, really.
I started at a gallery, then magazines, moved agency side, and eventually in-house.
Then I went freelance, because I love a bit of chaos in all honesty.
Now, I embed in agency and production teams for some awesome global projects, while working direct with some lovely brands and federations. I’m up for anything really, whatever works for you and your project. -
I’ve been freelance for nearly three years and I’ve never posted, shared or made a website.
So, here it is. Kinda.
Not exactly best practice, but in my defence… I’ve been busy doing cool things with awesome people.
I also appreciate I look incredibly horsey. Most of my work is strategy and campaigns for global brands and federations, but from a creative POV equestrian is my jam. Oh, and I will not use AI. I’m not sorry.
